In the end of 2009 I started another private & actually just-for-fun project, because I didn’t find a nice watch for me to buy. I thought about it every now and then, and in 2010 I submitted the design to Yanko followed by Engadget and several others picking up their post. It was also a featured project on Behance. At that time, Engadget was THE tech blog with millions of unique visitors each month. I don’t know where Derick saw my post in the end, but he must have liked it because he contacted me. Not a long time after we met, we started with getting those watches to production.
